Description: This Dunlin in first winter plumage (hatched in summer 2019) is a first record for the Toronto Christmas Bird Count. It took top honours at theToronto Ornithological Club roundup. Found earlier by Paul Prior, our team saw it in the afternoon feeding along the beach on Peninsula B. Tommy Thompson Park in Toronto on 15 December 2019.

Turkey Vultures are in full migration right now in southern Ontario. Today's northwest winds created perfect conditions for a great flight of Turkey Vultures on the north shore of Lake Ontario at Cranberry Marsh in Whitby. 5 October 2020.
