Leonard Jefferson, who knew Tupac Shakur, took the now-viral photo of Tupac and Marion “Suge” Knight together in a car on the night of September 7, 1996, just hours before the rapper was fatally shot in a drive-by attack. Testifying in the ongoing trial of Duane “Keffe D” Davis, Jefferson recalled his interactions with Tupac that night, including seeing him and Knight after the shooting. Davis has pleaded not guilty to the murder charge and is accused of orchestrating the attack that killed Tupac as the rapper traveled toward Club 662 in Las Vegas.
