During cross-examination in the Duane “Keffe D” Davis murder trial, former Death Row Records security figure James McDonald, also known as “Mob James,” grew heated with defense attorney Michael Sanft. McDonald, who served as Marion “Suge” Knight’s head of security at Club 662, expressed concern that Sanft’s questions could potentially put him in legal trouble while also helping send Davis to prison. The tense exchange ultimately ended with McDonald apologizing for his behavior.
