Electronica composition performed using the Elektron Digitakt and Model:Cycles.
These two machines are plugged into the Line 6 Helix which is acting as mixer and audio interface and the sound is being recorded via USB into Logic with a little Waves L3 multiband limiting in post.
The Digitakt is sending clock, pattern change CC and some midi notes to the Cycles and is doing most of the work in this track. The Cycles is playing the arpeggiated synth part, some hats and a percussive/melodic part with the Perc machine. The Digitakt is doing everything else. I'm not doing much here other than changing patterns on the Digitakt and switching in/out a few effects on the Helix as everything is pretty much sequenced up - hence the crazy visuals!
