Jam Project 2019 films are a collaboration between students of the first year Character Animation, CG Arts and Graphic Storytelling programs, working in mixed groups of five persons.
During their very first week of school, the 14 groups each produced a 30 second short film using their smartphones and stop-frame animation technique. The starting point of the films was live sound recording done on the first day of the project. After editing the sound, the groups exchanged soundtracks and used them as inspiration for their films. There were no limitations on the style, media or content of the films.
The supervising teachers of the project were filmmaker Paul Bush and sound designer Andrea Martignoni.
