The mountains, less than an hour's drive west of my home in Calgary, often cause the winds that blow over them to form these waves that roll across the foothills and over the city. They're most fascinating to watch in time-lapse. While this weather was evolving over the afternoon and evening, I was downstairs, in my music room, finishing some improvisations with my flugelhorn and a Celtic Harp sound on my synth. A little space jazz to go with the weather on this April 25th, 2020, all cozy in my quarantine hideout.
Quarantine Life: looking out the window at the tumbling tumbleweed clouds rolling across the foothills. Finding peace in the calm. Hanging my thoughts out to dry… and letting them evaporate into thin air. Who am I anyway? Not my thoughts!?! Apparently, we are nothing but the infinite field of possibilities, forever tumbling forth, in every moment, into and out of existence, like the clouds in the sky :o)
