The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has opened one lane of the westbound I-44 flyover ramp to southbound US-75 on Thursday, marking a major milestone in a project that stalled for years and became known online as “Tulsa Stonehenge.”

A single lane of traffic on the new bridge will replace the loop ramp currently in use. The new bridge is 2,400 ft long, nearly half a mile.

The entire project should be finished by the summer of 2028.
