Unknownthomasfan1 and I are working on a Tugs DVD set, and part of it is converting the PAL footage to NTSC, in the sharpest and smoothest way possible. Now, when converting 25fps to 30fps, there are a couple methods you can use. One of them is 3:2 pull down which mixes some frames (the fields really) together in order to make new ones. Another way, is what Uknown and I call "frame duplication", where every 1 in 5 frames is duplicated to make 6. I personally prefer frame duplication since there really aren't any noticeable differences in the frame rate, but I just wanted to see what pull down would look like with the footage.
