Tuesday Tips for RV Life
Hey, Sunshine Squad here is another money-saving tip. Everyone wants to get out and explore and doesn’t want to sacrifice fun and adventure, however, there is the budget to consider.
How to save on meat with reduced for quick sale labels. One easy way to save on meat is to buy it when the grocery store marks it “reduced for quick sale”. This is an easy and effortless way to save money.
You can stock your freezer with great cuts of meat that didn’t cost a fortune. When a store runs a special on chicken, pork or beef, buy more than you need and freeze it. Break it out into more manageable sizes when you get home from the store and then freeze it in well insulated freezer bags. We have a Food Saver just for this reason. Make sure you also indicate the type of meat and date so you always consume the oldest first. Not only will you pay less per pound, but your meat will be in the perfect size portions for your meals!
Or in the case of finding the chicken legs on sale- a two for the price of one we had to cook them up on the Blackstone right away to enjoy. We had two legs each with a side salad for dinner and we pulled the meat from the rest to make chicken salad for lunch. A win to get two meals out of $4.78!!
Here is a link using our Amazon affiliate account for a Food Saver: amzn.to/3VZzxTa
It doesn’t cost you anything to use the link and we earn commission from Amazon if you purchase using the link. We use money earned from affiliate links to better our channel and equipment.
Let us know if you have any money-saving tips and we might feature them in an upcoming Tuesday Tips!
Happy Tuesday!
