Modern quilting, surface design techniques, and sharing her love of quilting and history through volunteerism and workshops are Sheila's passions. Sheila has chaired National Quilting Day at the IQM since its inception in 2009. She volunteers at the museum, teaches workshops, and is past President of Friends of the IQM. Sheila is a Nebraska State Quilt Guild Hall of Fame recipient and Education Chair and the past President of Lincoln Modern Quilt Guild.
