I filmed my experience travelling on the TTC from Islington Bus Terminal to Runnymede Station.The shops inside Islington station were mostly closed and looked abandoned — it felt like almost no one shops there anymore. The bus terminal itself is in very poor, dilapidated condition.Over the PA system the announcer said there was a police investigation underway at Runnymede. By the time I arrived, TTC staff and police had already cleared the area and moved the person causing the disturbance away.
While riding, I also noticed something interesting: some sections of the track have extra lanes/rails running inside the actual train tracks. Does anyone know what those are for?
