"Where did you go? Please wake up the dormouse, his tea is getting cold."
Our theme revolves around the term "Praedormitium", the state of decreasing consciousness that is in between waking and sleeping.
Being subjected to adapting himself to a farce of living in a demanding hectic society in order to fit in, another being within him was born; one that was wild and mad enough to live the life of a never-ending teaparty. He thought that if he became this being, he would never feel lonely ever again.
However, the void in his heart grew bigger everyday, living a life of a facade.
The more he puts on his other face, the more he realizes that the madness was slowly eating him whole, and the line that draws between his true self and his insanity starts to blur. Sometimes, he doesn't know who he really is anymore. Conflicted with the possibility that the next time he wakes up, he will no longer the same, our Dormouse chooses to go into a state of sleeping, in order to protect what's left of his heart from being defiled by worldly madness.
As the Dormouse clings on to a sliver of hope to be found and remembered for who he was before while he was alive, he gradually succumbs to his fate; his true self slowly diminishing, entering into deep sleep.
Our song is the real Dormouse's final plea of help.
PS: Praedormitium could just be PraedorMOUSEium for all we know.
