T-Tap wire connectors make it easy to "tap" into an existing wire. The T-Tap connector is an insulation displacement connector, or IDC. You simply squeeze the connector over your existing wire using ordinary pliers, and the connector penetrates the insulation, making contact with the wire inside. To attach a second wire, crimp an insulated male push on terminal onto your other wire, and push it in to the protruding end on the T-Tap.
