Founded in 1989 by inventor Dean Kamen, FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a global nonprofit organization that offers team-based robotics programs. FIRST is an organization that brings up the scientists and engineers of today and inspires the next generation of learners. STEM is a field that is widespread as well as impactful in today's day and age, and it might be easier to get started in robotics than you think!

With perspectives in both FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) and FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), Razzle Dazzle, a local robotics team, plans to show off what FIRST has to offer. FTC uses Java or block-based programming and is often seen as a more accessible entry point, while FRC is known for its more intense, industry-level engineering experience. Join us to learn more about team-based robotics in the Raleigh area!

About the presenters:
Razzle Dazzle is a robotics team based in Apex, North Carolina that was founded in 2017. The team is known for their contagious spirit, can-do attitude, and ability to take on new challenges! They spread the thrill of robotics and STEM with the help of FIRST.
