Rikki Poynter | trying to get back into a routine after depression @rikkipoynter | Uploaded March 2024 | Updated October 2024, 26 minutes ago.
Been overwhelmed by the stress of trying to find consistent work as I aim to move into an actual one bedroom apartment in July. Been overwhelmed by how messy my space is and shut down when trying to do something about it. Add in depression, pain, and fatigue flares which contribute to the mess and it’s… something. But slowly chipping away at it all little by little everyday. Making an actual to-do list has helped a little bit.
Support your favorite content creators if you can. There’s free and paid ways to do so. Patreon, Super Thanks tips, tips via other platforms. Watching ads on videos, sharing the content you see is free and helps with exposure so more work can come in.
Not sure if I got rejected for this writing job and they didn’t want to tell me or they’re still going through the process, but also put in two apps for other jobs so… fingers crossed.

Trying to get back into routine after big depression flare for weeks
Transcript:
So I’ve been in a super depressed flare lately. Also a pain flare. Also fatigue flare. My little studio is an absolute mess. You don’t need to see it. But just imagine you can barely walk on the floor because that’s how messy it is. That does not include the kitchen and the bathroom. Also, I am behind on work because I’ve been trying to find work. Thus my main gig, if you will, that actually doesn’t even pay me– let’s be honest– had been put on the back burner and I just look at my stuff and I’m like… why. But I am happy to announce I did some writing yesterday that’s been published. I’m working on videos now. And I’m actually doing some laundry and clean up. So we are ever so slowly getting up there.
