In this video I attempt to repair and old Nokia N78 from 2006. I got this Nokia N78 off Ebay for a mere $20 and it was listed with a an loose keypad. This is a quite rare Nokia phone and goes for decently high prices online so I bought it quickly when I saw it. The Nokia N78 being an N Series device is loaded with features such as a a premium and sleek keypad design, hours of battery life, Nokia N-Gage 2.0 Gaming Service, 2 Camera's and a lot of other stuff that high end Nokia N-Series phones had. The N78 is one of the few Nokia's that uses clips to hold its body in place instead of screws and these plastic clips wear down over time and cause issues. After all, it was a Budget Nokia N Series phone so costs had to be cut somewhere. It is the direct successor to the Nokia N73 and Nokia N77 and the predecessor to the Nokia N79. This sleek and minimalist phone is definitely a great addition to my collection and a phone that I cant wait to do a retro style review on and also using the Nokia N78 in 2022, Nokia N78 2022 or Nokia Symbian 2022 so stay tuned by subscribing!
These are considered rare phones or collectible phones and I am keeping them in my phone collection since they are considered as a vintage phones or retro phones.
My collection also includes Nokia Prototypes, Blackberry Prototypes, Motorola Prototypes, Sony Ericsson prototypes, Sony Prototypes, HTC Prototypes, Rare Nokia and other rare developer devices! These phones are no Android 11 or Android 12 powerhouses and It also ain't no iPhone 13 Pro Max, Google Pixel 6, Lumia 950Xl, Lumia 1520, Lumia 1020, Google Pixel 6 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, Motorola Edge S or OnePlus 10 Pro but are definitely interesting phones on their own!
So, lets try and fix this 14 year old Nokia N78 here in 2022!
