One of the scariest aspects of going to college and moving away from home is finding new friends - people who make us feel like we belong. In hopes of finding those people, I signed up for a University of Chicago backpacking trip in Michigan. I figured that by sleeping in the same tent with 3 other dudes for 5 nights we'd have no choice but to get close. Anything could happen, but unless you actively put yourself out there you'll never know...
