The title of this video is "Trying to Become a YouTuber in 2026 Be Like… 💀".
Lately, with all the news coming out, I’ve been feeling like the barrier to entering YouTube is getting higher and higher.
Starting February 1, 2027, the requirements for joining the YouTube Partner Program are reportedly doubling—from 4,000 watch hours to 8,000 watch hours, and from 10 million Shorts views in 90 days to a whopping 20 million.
But what would it feel like for someone who worked incredibly hard to reach 4,000 watch hours, only to fall short by January 31 and suddenly have to meet the new requirements?
Thinking about situations like these and all the possible loopholes, I decided to make this video.
It’s meant to be satire, but entertainment is the main goal, so I hope you’ll just sit back, enjoy the video, and have some fun with it!
