The Recipe:
1 stick (1/2 c) salted butter
2 1/2 c all-purpose flour
1/4 c brown sugar
1 1/2 Tb cinnamon
1 Tb baking powder
2 c heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Glaze:
2/3 c powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 Tb half and half or cream (amount may vary)
Preheat your oven to 450 °(F)
Melt your butter in a 10 inch skillet. Allow to cool to room temperature.
Combine the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Add the cream and vanilla. Mix together. This will be a stiff dough.
Spread the dough in the bottom of the skillet.
Cut the dough into portions.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until they test done with a toothpick.
Cool for a few minutes.
For the glaze, combine the powdered sugar, vanilla and half of the half & half in a small bowl. Whisk together. Add just enough more half and half to bring it to a glaze consistency.
Drizzle the glaze over the top.
Enjoy!
