Slow cooker Swedish meatballs
Serves 4 | Prep 10 mins | Cooking 3 hours 15 mins
560g Coles Beef & Pork Meatballs
1 brown onion, thinly sliced
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tsp sweet paprika
1/2 tsp allspice
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tbs Dijon mustard
2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
420g can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup (250ml) Coles Beef Bone Broth
1/2 cup (120g) Coles Sour Cream
3 tsp cornflour
Coles Kitchen Creme Royale Potato Mash, heated, to serve
Coles Simply Frozen Peas, steamed, to serve
Cranberry sauce, to serve
Chives, finely chopped, to sprinkle
1. Place the meatballs, onion, garlic, paprika, allspice, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, mushroom soup and beef broth in the bowl of a slow cooker and stir to combine. Cook, covered, on high for 3 hours (or low for 5 hours).
2. Combine the sour cream and cornflour in a small bowl. Add the sour cream mixture to the meatball mixture and gently stir to combine. Cover and cook for a further 15 mins or until sauce thickens. Season.
3. Divide the mash potato among serving plates. Spoon over the meatballs and sauce. Serve with cranberry sauce and peas. Sprinkle with chives to serve.
