Did you know macOS 26 lets you create custom control menus in your menu bar? Just open Control Center, tap Edit Controls at the bottom, and you’ll see a new plus icon appear. Click it to start a blank menu you can organize however you like. Want a dedicated audio menu? Add volume, broadcast options, music recognition, background sounds, and more. You can even make multiple custom menus—think Home Automation, Shortcuts, and beyond. And if you ever want to remove a menu, just drag it out of the menu bar and it disappears.
