We tried to survive the world’s hottest golf course at Furnace Creek, Death Valley! The lowest elevation golf course in the world. And with our partner Liquid I.V. we proved just how important hydration is every day and especially in extreme climates like this. Wait... is that wasting water? Nope. Every drop from the natural springs at The Oasis at Death Valley flows through the pools to the Inn gardens to the golf course ponds (used as irrigation for the entire course). Any water not used diverts straight to Badwater Basin, where it feeds the ecosystem that depends on it. It's a closed-loop, gravity-fed natural spring system, not a hose running into the sand. The course itself is also a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary for its habitat conservation work.
