So yeah, this is pretty much the same song but now with an astounding...100% less of drums! The difference isn't that big obviosuly, but I thought it'd be neat to make an extension out of it just because I love the song so much. That and it gave me the opportunity to throw in all the Try Again screens of Megamix together, so I guess this is also a bit of a "All Rhythm Heaven Megamix's Try Agains + music" (?). What's your favorite quote?

As I commented in my community post some hours ago, it seems that BrawlBRSTMS3s channel has been sadly terminated, I realized when I got this suggestion and went to check out their Tengoku extensions. As a way to honor the channel I decided to extend again this song and tried to emulate the same loop.
Im gonna miss that channel a lot, it was such a big library of VGM extensions and an influence to me and now all is sadly lost...
Moving to the music, I wasnt unsure if I should call the title just Karate Man or Karateka, since technically the song¡s from Tengoku. But since this minigame never had an official name outside of Japan until Megamix, I decided to go with that name.
As an unfun fact, I always found interesting that according to the official CD, this song, possibly one of the most iconic ones from the series, wasnt actually composed by Tsunku, but Masami Yone, the only other composer in Tengoku and the man who eventually became the director o Megamix.

Shaving vegetables with human faces to the rhythm was never this satisfying, definitively a better experience that shaving lightbulbs with human faces. I always found interesting that these onions went to become one of the faces of the series; getting their own plushes, making cameos in all the games of the series as well as WarioWare...but Ill give them that this is a game that indeeds lets a strong impression in you, so it makes sense. ~~And in the case of the GBA sequel, a VERY strong one with that last pattern.~~
Also in some alternate universe they actually used human faces instead of vegetables...so thats cool and not creepy at all.

Actually one of the darkest game in the series, I highly encourage watching the video in 720p60 to enjoy the gameplay at its finest.
Also the loop may kinda suck a bit, I wanted to keep most of the entire game before looping due to it being a SFX version.

Theres many things that come to my mind when I think about Remix 7; its last Tap Troupe segment, its fabulous disco aesthetique, Donkey Kongs ass confirming Karate Joe is in Smash, ITS LAST TAP TROUPE SEGMENT...oh, and the music! The musics really darn good!
cause if theres a Remix in Fever that feels particularly empty without SFX, thats Remix 7 for me. I cant not listen the last Tap Troupe segment, its not possible. And since a good friend had already extended it without SFX and I got the request, I decided to give it a try...and for once I actually succeeded in a loop that sounded good enough for me.
As a little unfun fact, you can actually see a very faint glimpse of Karate Joe, hes twice in this segment of the Remix for some reason. Based Joe breaking the laws and space and time so that he can chill and keep training at the same time.

Hey everyone. Derrick here with a quick news update on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as something rather interesting has been noticed by Teh CornerTheif on YouTube, and well have a link to his video in our description so be sure to check that out as he is the one who originally found this. However, what hes found is really interesting, and thats the pose DK is in when watching his TV during the K. Rool reveal trailer. We see him lounging in front of the TV, head resting on his arm, one foot crossed over the other, and scratching his butt. And Teh CornerTheif noticed that this is the exact same position that Karate Joe is in from Rhythm Heaven Fever. In fact, he even has the same TV. It has the same rabbit ears, it looks very similar, and theres just a lot of crossover between DKs position and Karate Joes position. Now this leads to speculation... could we get Karate Joe as a fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate? It seems incredibly out there, it seems not even possible, it might just be a cute little reference, we dont know. But the fact that they are so similar and Sakurai doesnt really toss in references willy nilly, theres always a point behind a lot of the things he does, makes us think that there might be even a slight chance that Karate Joe could make it in or have some kind of role. Maybe hell at least be an assist trophy, its hard to say. But still, its a great find and were curious what you think. Could Karate Joe come to the game?
