The demo dropping suddenly took me by surprise. Its much better than I anticipated. Arcade mode is a decent challenge, I think it will appeal to casual shmup players who dont like anime grls in their shmups and the shmup enthusiasts who enjoy anime toast in mouth running down the road gifs.
Graphically this game looks pretty nice, some effort went into the new but still classic designs of the Truxton series. Twitch couldn't handle the blue laser, the bitrate ended up eating sand so it looks kinda bad here. Gameplay wise its good: your ship is snappy, the weapons feel powerful and you don't completely power down on death. This has the makings of a good shooting game. I was mistaken about your ship speed on respawn, it does reduce your speed to 1.
