The search for Truth is a perennial yearning among human beings. The most sincere and worthy of those seekers eventually come to the realization that God is Truth. In this special talk, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya explains the nature of God as Truth, as well as the connection of Truth to the growth of bhakti (devotion) and spiritual practice (sadhana).
“Whoever worships Me daily, or recites whatever is in praise of Me, or contemplates Me inwardly, all that effort contributes only to increase his devotion to Me.” (Parama-Samhita Pancharatra, 30.33)
“Where devotion is absent, all effort, even though great, turns out to be only for worldly show, and brings no good result either here in this life or the life hereafter.” (Parama-Samhita Pancharatra, 30.34)
“Therefore, make your devotion grow by all possible effort. So increased, this devotion leads the devotee to the highest abode of Vishnu.” (Parama-Samhita Pancharatra, 30.35)
“For the increase of that devotion, perception of Truth is described as the cause. See Me always as the Truth, and devotion to Me increases thereby.” (Parama-Samhita Pancharatra, 30.36)
