The 2024 U.K. General Election is upon us, and everywhere we hear politicians implore us to 'trust' them. But what do they (and we) mean by trust?

Here's a MODEL OF TRUST that I use, in both my professional life, and for assessing politicians. Over the years I've found very useful in helping me understand and explain why some people (politicians included) have my trust, and why others don't (or never will).

Viewers might find it useful too. With one day to go before the big vote, some might consider trust in a more nuanced way. Happy voting!
