After my tent showed signs of failure on a previous outing, I wasn’t sure I trusted it anymore… but instead of replacing it, I decided to take back into the mountains and find out for myself (if I was pitching it wrong or if the tent was to blame - unlikely)
Heading up to Glas Maol, I was chasing the last of the winter snow in Scotland — one of those rare spring days where it still feels like the season hasn’t quite let go. Glas Maol may have experienced some of the snowiest conditions in Scotland after the easterlies at the start of the year!!
I was hoping the KUIU Storm star would be ok but I did take along an extra item - just incase!!
The snow delivered.
The mountains delivered.
But the real question was always the tent.
