GOD THIS TOOK ACTUALLY FOREVER!!! A TOTAL OF LIKE 5+ DAYS ON THIS IF I WILL,, THIS WAS TERRIBLE FOR MY HANDS AND I HAD TO TAKE BREAKS BETWEEN DAYS SO IN TOTAL THIS PROBABLY TOOK A MONTH,,, BUT DAYS OF ACTUAL WORK ARE LIKE 5+
i just finished this today and i've been working on this for,, 7 hours already,, just to finish the remaining people and color it all together,, god damn my hands hurt so much lol.
But honestly i've wanted to do this for so long,, so many years. But as a kid looking at the base itself was pretty intimidating,, i wanted to be original though and redraw everything myself and pose things differently! And add maybe another person or two, im not sure. But a lot of sketching went into this,, thats for sure probably 2-3 days alone on sketching and 2-3 days on lineart and 1 day for coloring. it was a wild ride.
I did this picture of a mix between real life and online friends,, to be truthful i love you guys lol. You guys have done so much for me that i can't even describe and have made me a better person in the long run!
People in order of appearance;
Connor,Eddie,Jaci,Kyrie,Alexis,Tyler,Lui,Maxwell,Hernando,Aura,Logan,Me,Kiiru,Hollow, And my old 2015 self..
The reason i put my old self in there is because i often personify my depression as my 2015 (8th grade) self. The reason being because back then i didn't know the meaning of "positivity" because i couldn't experience it.
I only had two friends at the time who i didn't view as important, due to them not caring about me.
back then looking at this original theme, i knew i didn't have the friends...
well. Look at me now 2015 Pocky,
here you are just a few years later with friends who adore and cherish your presence, if my old self knew about this i feel she'd be shook. Honestly,, these people have changed my life for the better and i appreciate them so so much along with you all of course as my subscribers!!
