Donald Trump wants ICE agents to become “NICE agents,” and yes, unfortunately, that is a real thing we now have to discuss.
In this episode of The Dangerous Ones, Jim Drastic, Tiffany Drastic, and Nick Knudsen react to Trump’s Truth Social poll about renaming Immigration and Customs Enforcement to “NICE,” the MAGA responses cheering it on, and the much bigger propaganda game hiding behind the dumbest possible rebrand.
Because changing ICE to NICE does not change what ICE does. It does not erase raids, fear, intimidation, detention, family separation, or the politics of cruelty dressed up in a friendlier acronym. It just adds a little glitter glue to the police-state scrapbook.
We break down Trump’s “NICE agents” idea, Tom Homan’s role in the immigration crackdown, MAGA’s reaction to the poll, and why this kind of language game matters in a democracy. Also, yes, we laugh a lot, because sometimes the only correct response to fascist Sesame Street is political comedy with receipts.
