Last night, Donald Trump launched an unconstitutional war of aggression against Venezuela, kidnapped its president, and is pretending it’s about anything other than oil. This is not hypothetical. Force is already being used. Civilians are already dead. Congress was bypassed entirely.

We have seen this playbook before: lies about weapons of mass destruction, fearmongering about drugs, and another forever war sold to the public while oil companies cash in. I’m a former journalist running for Congress, and I refuse to stay silent while history repeats itself.

Congress must act. This is exactly what impeachment is for.
