I want to talk about two things that Trump said a couple of days ago. One was on Truth Social and another was in front of a live audience at the Faith and Freedom Coalition's 2026 policy conference. The reason I want to talk about these two statements is that they are yet another example of how Trump can say something that if any other politician had said it, Christians would be up in arms.
The first one is from a post he made on truth social on Friday which you can see on the screen now and I'm not going to read this whole thing, but near the end Trump makes the following statement. "I am saving Christians throughout the world." A statement like this should absolutely wake up those professed Christians who support him because Jesus is the one that is saving Christians throughout the world. It is yet another example of Trump portraying himself as our savior. And yet Trump supporters who are professed Christians hear these words and are not offended by them. They seemingly nod in agreement at Trump claiming that he is saving Christians all around the world. Again, it is Jesus Christ who is our savior.
It's worth remembering that the Antichrist is not only against Jesus Christ, but he seeks to replace Jesus Christ in the hearts and minds of believers. And there can be no better example of someone trying to replace Jesus in the hearts and minds of believers than if that person continually portrays himself as a savior. This, of course, is exactly what Donald Trump has done. He has claimed to have saved America, Western civilization, and many, many more things. Over and over again, Donald Trump has claimed to have saved something. And for some unknown reason, he has this magic power over many professed Christians who are following him around like he's some sort of gift from God. He is not. He is exactly the opposite. He is Satan's man in the last days.
The other comment that Trump made that I want to talk about was in front of a live audience at the Faith and Freedom Coalition conference on Friday afternoon. I'm going to play a short clip of what he said on Friday because the context is important, but I do understand that many of you cannot stand listening to his voice. And believe me, it's not easy for me either. But the clip is about a minute and 20 seconds long. And if you have trouble just listening to Trump, fast forward about a minute and just listen to about the last 20 seconds or so because he makes a stunning joke about how his name wasn't included next to the creator's name in the Constitution.
