DDHQ senior data scientist Liberty Vittert tells “On Balance” that pollsters have been good about anticipating election results — except when it comes to Donald Trump. He was undercounted by about 5% in 2016, enough for him to win, and again by 5% in 2020. She says it’s not out of the question that he is again being undercounted by 5%, which would give him a landslide victory.
