President Trump strongly suggested Thursday that the U.S. could “soon” attack Iran in response to an American military drone being shot down in the Gulf of Oman.

Speaking briefly outside the White House, Trump ominously said “you’ll soon find out” when asked if the Pentagon is planning a strike against Iran, whose Revolutionary Guard had acknowledged earlier in the day that it downed an unmanned U.S. Global Hawk surveillance drone off its southern coast.
