This project shows a specially designed pedestrian life bridge to span over the Red River of the North from Fargo, North Dakota to Moorhead, Minnesota. Since the area is prone to springtime flooding, a bridge that could be easily lifted (motorized) by city workers as part of pre-flood preparations.
