Continuing the elusive second hardest streak with the level right above The Golden on the list... Trueffet! This is a level I have had my eye on for ages, as some of you might know, and finally when I felt free from the burden of multiple verifications I quickly picked this up to try and beat it before going on a trip in the middle of the month, and I succeeded!
I have always loved this level and felt like its gameplay would be a decent match for how I play and it ended up going pretty well. The level is very muscle memory based and you end up being able to play most of the level without really thinking about what you're doing. But there are tons of chokepoints in the drop, the worst of which for me was the 45% wave, which never got consistent and was a huge wall from 0 as I died there 40% of the time from the beginning, which sucked. Besides that the levels pre-drop is super duper hard as many might know, but what most people don't talk about is how the first 10% consumes about 90% of your total attempts from the start, as it is super hard and grindy, and the rest of the pre-drop isn't even hard in comparison.
Overall though, decent experience, was really fun for most of the days but it got a bit sour towards the end as I was mostly stuck dying to chokepoints and blind transitions that weren't as consistent as the rest of the level, but luckily I didn't die at the ending too much and I feel like I had pretty ok luck, nothing great nothing horrible. If you have the skill and think the gameplay is for you, I highly recommend Trueffet! :)
