This boss felt unfair on my first playthrough, and was definitely a major difficulty spike. But in this ng+ playthrough I found myself really loving the boss a lot and not having too much trouble with him. It was really fun learning his moveset, and it felt great avoiding the boss' attacks while simultaneously dealing with his minions he spawned.
