On Thursday, May 14th, 2020, the federal government (along with the province of B.C.), gave in to economic blackmail; signing an agreement with the Wet’suwet’en’s “Hereditary Chiefs” who helped propel illegal blockades all across Canada.

All while undercutting the elected First Nations leadership of those very same indigenous communities.
