We walk through our current setup, a 2024 Ram 2500 with the 6.7L Cummins and the infamous 68RFE transmission, and explain why it’s ultimately being replaced. From there, we discuss our new order: a 2026 Ram 3500 Big Horn in Forged Blue, and the key differences that influenced our decision, including payload capacity, suspension changes, axle upgrades, and the new ZF 8-speed transmission.
