This was my very first ever interaction with an orca! My other friend in the video is Taylor (Dolphintrainer101) This video is a mix of both of our footage :) This was just...amazing though! Words will never be able to describe the way I felt... When he first came over, and I looked him in the eye, saw his size, grace, perfection, I was speechless and overcome by awe. Nothing will ever make me forget these AMAZING and truly special moments!
(Note: I also know we shouldn't have been giving him any signals-the only 2 we gave him were stick out your tongue (poking the glass) and I did give him open your mouth once (lifting up both of my arms in opposite directions)-, but he knew we were just playing, and as you saw, didn't respond anyways, so clearly he didn't care. Sometimes he likes to respond just for the reaction though xD We were also overexcited and not thinking correctly, and no, I'm not proud of all of my behavior in this video. I don't really think straight when I'm excited though sometimes. We were being monitored by our counselors and the educator the entire time as well.)
BTW guys, Trua is Juno's twin in orca form ;D
