Thanks to a $2,000 grant from the WASD Education Foundation, Williamsport Area Middle School science teacher Mr. Hessert launched the Trout in the Classroom program this year — and what a first year it's been!
From tiny eggs to full-grown trout, Mr. Hessert’s students nurtured and studied these fish right in their classroom, learning about ecosystems, biology, and conservation along the way. 🌍
