Troubleshooting a radio that has been having intermittent issues, both on transmit and receive. Remember when you are having any issues check the basics first, antenna, power, ground, microphone connection, etc...

I have seen this happen with PL-259, FME, and Mini-UHF connectors quite often if they were not tightened properly when the radio was installed.
