To remove the sediment bulb (fuel bowl assembly) from your 1949 Ford 8N tractor, follow these steps:
Turn off the Fuel: Locate the fuel shutoff valve, typically under the gas tank, and turn it off to prevent fuel from flowing while you work.
Release Pressure: Open the fuel line (where it connects to the carburetor) to release any remaining pressure. You can loosen the line or a drain plug if present.
Remove the Fuel Bowl Assembly:
Unscrew the retaining nut or clamp that holds the sediment bulb in place.
Carefully lower the glass sediment bowl.
