☀️ HOT START TO SEPTEMBER! ☀️
Get ready for another round of triple-digit heat across parts of South Central Texas.
🌡️ TODAY: Partly sunny and hot with highs from 97° to 101°. An isolated late-day sea breeze shower is possible.
Tropical Storm Edouard is expected to strengthen as it approaches the Upper Texas Coast Tuesday, with landfall forecast later in the day near the Texas-Louisiana border.
The storm could bring sustained winds approaching 65 mph, along with 3 to 6 inches of rain and isolated totals up to 9 inches across parts of Southeast Texas. Edouard should weaken quickly after moving inland Tuesday night.
🥵 WEDNESDAY: Even hotter, with highs from 98° to 102°. Most of us stay dry, but there’s a slight chance for rain, mainly north toward Austin and in our eastern counties.
⛈️ THURSDAY: Highs from 97° to 101° with a 20% chance of rain. An isolated shower or storm will be possible as what’s left of Edouard moves across the region.
Bottom line: September is starting off feeling a whole lot like August. Stay cool! ☀️🌡️
