Tropical Storm Edouard could form in the Gulf as soon as today, with landfall expected in western Louisiana or eastern Texas by Tuesday — and the remnants of Dolly aren't done yet.

Edouard would be the fifth named storm of the season. The National Hurricane Center says the system is located about 125 miles south of southeastern Louisiana. Satellite imagery and other data show the disturbance has become better organized, and additional development is possible as it moves west-northwestward. It could come ashore as a tropical storm or possibly a weak hurricane, bringing a flooding rain threat to south Louisiana.
