Part of a guide for the Trovehound trophy in Dragon Quest Heroes II.
If you can't get into an area because of a white barrier you need to do side quests to unlock it. If there's another type of obstacle you'll need to get further in the main story to recruit the right character. To get the key for locked chests you need to level thief to 20 && do the new side quest.
