Trooper John Kronander rescued a pit bull puppy that he found abandoned in a crate in Medina County. After a playful moment, the pup was safely transported to the Medina County SPCA.

Ohio State Highway Patrol told News 5 anchor Damon Maloney that it is still gathering information about the rescue to determine the next steps in the case.
