Folks may ask, why Trobbio for this project? And looking back at Minty’s lineup, Silksong does stick out. But I have my reasons! While it was partially because I am currently struggling my way through the game, and love the character, I thought Trobbio really represented Songmas well. Sure, he’s incredibly vain and a bit of an airhead. But at his core, he is trying to help people by standing up to something far greater than himself the only way he knows how: Through performance. Artistic expression. Trobbio looks at the crumbling world around him, and proudly belts in defiance to it. And sure, his voice alone isn’t going to get anything done. But that power of bringing people together and boosting their resolve through entertainment really speaks to me.
