Chopin's Étude Op. 10, No. 3 in E Major, "Tristesse" played by three virtual instruments: Native Instruments' "The Grandeur;" Pianoteq's Blüthner; and Vienna Symphonic Library's Steinway Concert D-274. All plugins played through Apple's GarageBand.

The selection of these instruments is entirely subjective and not intended to be an apples-to-apples comparison. Minor customizations were made to eliminate pedal and damper noises and to increase volume on the VSL which by default is a bit lower than the others.
