Taken from "Matilda" (1996) on Cartoon Network. Same thing happens on Boomerang airings of the film as well as some other channel airings.
Like the VHS and DVD version, the current 1996 TriStar Pictures logo is shown in a 4:3 screen format. The original 21:9 version on Blu-Ray and streaming prints also uses this logo. Unlike most TV channel airings, Starz and FreeForm use the 1984 logo on this film.
On later TV airings, the film is zoomed in and cropped to 16:9 Widescreen format.
