This is a revision of a piece I wrote when I was 17. Recently, I was going through some old compositions to see which ones were worthy enough for compilation, and so I found this one. The degree of nostalgia for my adolescence which surfaced in the course of the revision was unexpected as I was delightfully brought back and reconnected to the tender emotions that I felt in my youth.
The revision is therefore a sort of musical reflection on happier times in my life and a reconnection to the sense of excited wonder I had when I was young. I hope the music touches you in a similar way or that it otherwise may bring you some joy.
